What does this rebrand mean for me?
Today, having an online business is more than simply registering a domain or a new website. Webcentral is focussed on supporting your business at every step to enable online success. Our support is diverse, it extends from domain registration through to website creation and digital marketing - and everything in between. How is Webcentral different to Netregistry?
Netregistry has been supporting Australian Small Businesses to get online since 1997 - but we know we can always do better. We have been investing in our people, our processes and our technology and this change represents a new way of doing business; by reinforcing our customer expectations as the key strategic focus of our business. We believe that Webcentral better reflects both the range of services we offer, but also represents the new, progressive way we want to support our customers. You may have already noticed changes to our Customer Care, Console login and other product processes, but we have only just got started! Read more about our values and what the future holds here.
Do I need to do anything?
We have not made any change that require any updates. Any future update that requires any change will be communicated directly. Now might be a great time to check The Console to make sure your contact details are up to date. If you are experiencing any service issues, please get in contact with our friendly Customer Care team.
I'm still seeing some Netregistry/WME details around the place?
We know that too much change can be a challenge. Whilst the majority of our systems and processes have been updated to Webcentral, we have retained some selected placements of Netregistry and WME to minimise impact to our customers. For example, our nameservers will remain as xxx.netregistry.com.au for the time being, as will our website URLs - so you don't even need to update your bookmarks!
What happens to my login details and products that I have with you?
We want to keep this change as easy as possible for you. There is no changes to links, login details or any products & plans.
Will my pricing/plan details change?
To keep things as simple as possible, we are not changing any existing services. We have range of exciting releases in the pipeline and will keep you informed on any future updates.
Does my contract need to be updated?
No. Whilst our brand has changed, there is no update to our business entity, contracts or Terms of Service.
Will this rebrand change the day-to-day business I do with you?
We hope so! There are no changes you need to make to maintain service continuity and we trust that you see that Webcentral value will continue to grow through our operational improvements and investment in new online services.
